Located in Torino,almost in the middle of Europe, He done already a nice and well done Sled called 'archimede'.(www.calicocam.com) And He's able even to do a full service on every kind of sled. I've send to him my two Ultra 1 sled. One is ULTRA CINE 24 volt and the modification are: -upgraded the sled to HD-SDI signal,built-in with a new BNC connection on the top and on the bottom of it. -checked and changed the video and power cables on it -upgraded to a two V-MOUNT inclinable battery bracket -Upgraded to a 12 volt native sled ( it allows now to use it only with one 12 volt battery, some time when we are shooting with light camera is helpfull to have only one battery) with 12-24 volt selectable through a connector on the bottom of the sled -serviced and repaired the remote stage system The second is ULTRA BROADCAST 12 VOLT and the modification are: -upgraded the sled to HD-SDI signal,built-in with a new BNC connection on the top and on the bottom of it. -checked and changed the video and power cables on it -upgraded to a two V-MOUNT inclinable battery bracket -upgraded to a 24 volt sled with connector to select between 12-24 volt on the bottom of the sled I'm really happy about the final result,now my two old generation sled looks like the latest generation. ready to fly HD. The price/quality comparison is really good (that we are missing sometime) Now is servicing my old back-up IIIA arm and I'm going to send him my back-up sled 'RIG' to get it ready to fly HD. I'm not used to do this kind of 'advertising' but this time I was really enthusiastic about the result and I now how it's hard to find a reliable service sometime to care about our little baby...
