Trying to get up to 2 channels also. Any advice?

The bartech works great though, Just have the funds to upgrade =)

Also considering selling the bartech if any interest? It's the digital newer one.

Looking to stay around 10g's, and used is fine.

Why not upgrading to a Digital bartech, keep your analog, buy the digital Motor drive, get the extra slider and boom dual channel digital Bartech!

Your N-one should work with it too (i think)

Just spoke with engineer to have something custom made =) Similar to the ET one, going to see if that will do the trick or I will really look into the slider upgrade for the bartech!

"Why not upgrading to a Digital bartech" That's what I have.

I would definitely then buy a second BDR. The V2 is great, and with the slider upgrade on your handset you have a killer, compact system that is 16 bits and performs just as good as a Preston HU 1 or 2 with 2 channels, for a fraction of the cost.

I would call Jim or Marc Alfonso and have a chat about their solution.

Dustin,

If you would like to consider the VariZoom TOC you can call the office during regular business hours and speak to Steve Cinti 512-739-1881

All these bells and whistles but –if I remember correctly- no remote camera trigger. Don’t get me wrong, I like what I saw but omitting such a basic feature would be deal breaker for me.

Hi Tom, I sorry to ask, but I heard that there was no camera Start/Stop option on the VariZoom. Is that true?

Hi Victor,

That was true and was not such a problem for many of our customers using in different applications. We have added it in the newest version, with additional features as well, that we expect to release in April and show at NAB.

Our system does offer some features found on much higher end systems costing significantly more.

If you wish to start with a single channel but keep the option of expanding you can buy our 3 channel unit with just one motor and add two channels (zoom and Iris / 2 more channels) later as our receiver handles all three channels. So no need for additional receivers just buy another drive motor(s).

Tom
