According to an operator friend of mine –who already bought his pair 1 year ago- very useful in icy surfaces like frozen lakes or even potentially slippery wet grass and such. They don’t alter your normal walking style as they are very elastic. I bought them for just $20. It’s made by Tchibo Germany.
