Premium Members Jerry Holway Posted March 18, 2013 Premium Members Report Share Posted March 18, 2013 It is true that the Tiffen workshops use mostly Tiffen gear, but the focus is not on the gear. We spend 99.9% of our time concentrated on operating. The insinuation that we do otherwise, i.e., that it is primarily a sales event, must be based on ignorance of what we do. Martin Ludl
Since I am a new member, I would like to say hello to everybody. It is nice to be part of this great community! I have attended the Lake Arrowhead workshop back in 2011 and I can only agree with Jerry. I have never experienced any kind of sales talk - active or subliminal! It was all about sharing the joy of operating this noble instrument and enhanceing your capabilities as a visual storyteller. I guess 0.1% was eating, sleeping, making new friends and having an experience of a lifetime... All the best Martin
