The bonus about the Decimator 2 is that it also does downconvertion to SD at the same time which will be useful for the OP. Isn't the Connect strictly AC-powered ? Premium Members Dan Kanes Posted May 16, 2013 Premium Members Report Share Posted May 16, 2013 Hey Buddies - the connect actually uses Sony NPF style batteries (NPF970) - it's a pretty cool product, but if you can, try to make sure that it fits the back of your monitor if you plan on mounting it to a battery receiver plate.
