I've been doing research from what everyone is posting and suggesting and I think I may go with a Paralinx Arrow to start with. It's more around in my budget area and the things I've head about it is good so far. Thank you all for your help.

The Atomos Connect, or Blackmagic Design Mini Converter may also be good choices.

The bonus about the Decimator 2 is that it also does downconvertion to SD at the same time which will be useful for the OP.

Isn't the Connect strictly AC-powered ?

The Atomos Connect is powered by Canon batteries but you can pout a Dummy battery with p-Tap adapter.

I must have misunderstood. Are we referring to the same thing ? http://www.atomos.com/connect-ac/

Hey Buddies - the connect actually uses Sony NPF style batteries (NPF970) - it's a pretty cool product, but if you can, try to make sure that it fits the back of your monitor if you plan on mounting it to a battery receiver plate. I will try talking to our friends at Atomos and see if I can get pictures to depict what I mean by that.
