Jamie Northrup
Has anyone mounted their rig on a hovercraft before? Just imagine a shots going over a pond... lordy.
Moderators Janice Arthur Posted April 3, 2013 Moderators Report Share Posted April 3, 2013 Jaime; Just not a lot of hovercrafts around to warrant a device. Could be nice as you imagine it but blown up they are a long way from the water and a Steadicam arm won't reach that far. Pools and even ponds are pretty small too when you come right down to it so hovercraft might be called overkill. Keep noodling but think crane! Have a good week. (Get to work on your taxes!) You're definitely right, but a hovercraft sure beats wading in the water with your monitor and batteries underwater.

Moderators Janice Arthur Posted April 4, 2013 Moderators Report Share Posted April 4, 2013 Jaime. You answer in jest I'm sure; that and 4 others reasons why a crane is the thing to use (I'm not going anywhere near walking in a muck filled pond etc!!)
