Premium Members Colin Donahue Posted April 22, 2013 Premium Members Report Share Posted April 22, 2013 I was trying to re calibrate my focus travel on my Stanton and I can't seem to get the screw to turn. It is plastic and I am afraid I might have stripped the head. For anyone that owns one of these, what size screw driver do you use? I called Stanton, and they said to use the same size as the one for zoom calibration. I have tried that screw driver, but I can't seem to feel it "bite" on the screw. The motor jitters when I put the screw driver in, so I know I am at the screw, just can't feel it turn, and the focus gear will not increase travel. Any help would be appreciated. Premium Members Rob Vuona SOC Posted April 23, 2013 Premium Members Report Share Posted April 23, 2013 Colin You may stripped it but try a flat head and turn it all the way to one side That should correct the jitter If it doesn't turn send it in
Premium Members Rob Vuona SOC Posted April 23, 2013 Premium Members Report Share Posted April 23, 2013 Colin you may have stripped it Send it in Otherwise try a flat head and turn it all the way one direction and that should stop the chattering
Premium Members Colin Donahue Posted April 23, 2013 Author Premium Members Report Share Posted April 23, 2013 Rob, I can't seem to turn it or feel that I am turning it. As soon as I put the screw driver in, the gear it jumps all over the place, but it does not move in a consistent direction. Colin
