Premium Members William Demeritt Posted April 25, 2013 Premium Members Report Share Posted April 25, 2013 Have you considered making the bottom/foot area contoured to the same shape/dimensions of a junior pin, or however the base of a C-stand that pins into a turtle base? Might give another option for people who are short on space/area? Along with the rubber nub, be able to drop it into a turtle base quick and easy. Just thinking out loud.

Premium Members Thomas English Posted April 25, 2013 Premium Members Report Share Posted April 25, 2013 Do you operate off this thing in a "SteadiStatic" or is it for your spotter to hold onto and pass you over between shots to rest up? Is it compatible with the Hill dock rings?
Premium Members Tim Moynihan Posted April 26, 2013 Author Premium Members Report Share Posted April 26, 2013 Hi guys, William, no I hadn't thought of that. So, your thought is a kind of stand that the Monopod could sit in? Thomas, yes, it's for resting, talking to DP, director, assistant, actor...between takes. As for the Hill bracket, basically the diameter of the inset has to match the diameter of your docking bracket. It sits down and is safely held...it can't come out unless it's lifted out. Brett, I'll post an image with my rig in the pod if you like... Tim
Premium Members Jens Piotrowski SOC Posted June 1, 2013 Premium Members Report Share Posted June 1, 2013 I've recently received the new monopod from Tim and what a difference in design and manufacturing to the "Moses Pole". A much better quality overall, thanks!
