Segway i2 or x2?

I searched The forum for My question but couldnt find anything

 

 

Anyways i'm planering to Buy a segway but what should I buy i2 or x2?

 

It looks like everyone use x2 but how come? Please help me decide:)

First off

 

Before buying try renting or borrowing one from fellow ops or rental houses to get the feel of the different models.

 

I'd advise getting the x2 aswell, it has a larger footprint than the i2 and therefor is a little more stable. I think you can still put the narrow wheels on when shooting indoors though. I'm only used to the off road wheels on the x2 but apparently the turf wheels feel as smooth as the regular i2 wheels.

There is only 1 hands free Segway in Sweden what I know of and that one I have lots of expierence with, and that one is an old version Segway with the pedals

 

However what I've learned from a friend who sells these i2 and x2 is that i2 have the same prestanda but it's more alert, but I think it is as you say maybe take a look at both and see the difference, but problem for me is that closest dealer is 1000km away

the pedal operated Segway is indeed not the ideal reference for the new ones. Chris Fawcett also recommends getting the x2 (Turf) with a set of i2 wheels for maximum versatility. Check out his site http://steadiseg.com/sales.html
