Customized Pro II Sled w/Rainbow II monitor

I built this rig for a friend of mine who was looking to get into sports coverage initially so wanted something lightweight for running the sidelines but also wanted the ability to spec it up for film work when neccessary. Unfortunately soon afterwards his wife was transferred to another country so I was left holding a rig I didn't really want or need.

I had the based rewired and a custom cap machined to allow this to be used with the MK-V Evolution battery cage with up to 3 v-lock batteries mounted though it is wired to be able to run a 12V camera and monitor on one battery also. The machining and rewire cost me $4000 alone but also allows for the cage to be removed and 2 rods to be mounted along the bottom to support a battery and monitor for an extremely lightweight but rigid setup when using it as a running rig or flying lightweight cameras.

It comes with 2 seperate interchangable posts both with the standard Pro bayonet fittings. One is a full size 2 stage post while the other is a 19" fixed length post for use with lightweight setups.

There are also 2 monitor mounts. One is the standard tiltable Pro model and the other is a custom one that my friend wanted so he could use a lightweight LCD that he had with a 1/4" thread. It may be of use to someone so I'll throw it in also.

The gimbal is an EFP that was upgraded to tools free by Hugo at Steadyrig and the topstage is the MK-V standard model.

I'm throwing in a Transvideo Rainbow II 6.5" Super Bright monitor with the rig which is in good working condition also.

All up it cost me over US$14000 to put this together for my friend and I would just like to recoup some of my money. Send me reasonable offers as it is collecting dust here.

I am leaving for Cinegear and then a month around Europe on Wednesday 29th May but if someone commits to buy it and is heading to Cinegear I should be able to bring it with me for them which may help a little with shipping etc.
