Premium Members RonBaldwin Posted April 27, 2006 Premium Members Report Share Posted April 27, 2006 Dave...looks like the VA Hospital in Northridge? I've spent about one day a week there for the last 2 years on grey's anatomy. Pain in the butt when it's open (week days). Was harmonica guy there? I second the docking stand. Premium Members David Allen Grove Posted April 28, 2006 Premium Members Report Share Posted April 28, 2006 Chas, Ron, Docking stands are for sissies! I use my index finger to spin balance! Ron, I believe it was that very same hospital! Eagle Eyes Baldwin! haha No harmonica guy (we shot during the weekend) but my 2nd assistant played his banjo during down time. To bad, we could have had a shindig or even a ho-down!

Premium Members Richard W. Davis Posted May 4, 2006 Premium Members Report Share Posted May 4, 2006 OK Dave, Are you flying both a Sony On Board recorder and an Archos...A little redundant isn't it????? :) See ya, Rich Davis LA
Premium Members David Allen Grove Posted May 4, 2006 Premium Members Report Share Posted May 4, 2006 I wondered if someone would notice that! ha! :P I had an issue where I couldn't seem to get the archos to accept video, it was a black and white tap, so I looped it through the 8mm recorder and it worked! I've since learned that you can switch the Source menu to B&W and it will work. The 8mm on board is now packed away. Hope I never have to use it again. You know what they say, Once you go Archos....... um..... yea..
Premium Members Marc Abernathy Posted May 4, 2006 Premium Members Report Share Posted May 4, 2006 ok dave, so you have the archos velcroed to the dovetail or did you fabricate some kind of bracket to slide it on and off? i forgot what you told me earlier.. apologies... :(
Premium Members David Allen Grove Posted May 5, 2006 Premium Members Report Share Posted May 5, 2006 Hi Marc, Just velcro. Don't put any velcro on the battery though. Just on the archos.

Premium Members paul magee Posted December 17, 2006 Premium Members Report Share Posted December 17, 2006 http://www.actioncameras.co.uk/acatalog/MP...e_Recorder.html Looks like the chasecam http://www.chasecam.com/ it's been discussed on this list before while it was in development but I don't think anyone has ever written a review on a working product. Premium Members Erwin Landau Posted December 17, 2006 Premium Members Report Share Posted December 17, 2006 It's exactly the same unit: Here the one from Actioncameras: And here the Casecam: It also sports a "Lemo" version now... I'll combine the 2 topics later. Erwin
Premium Members SergeiFranklin Posted January 1, 2007 Premium Members Report Share Posted January 1, 2007 I have been talking to Randy at chasecam.com for some time and asked him to make version with Lemo and BNCs PDR-100H. It should have the same pinout as the PRO video recorder Lemo. I should have mine in the next few weeks and will report on it.

I spoke to Randy about a month ago and "operators were standing by" ready for the big shipment but I never heard from him after that. Anyone else have any purchasing/customer service/product experience with Chasecam? Thanks!
