Premium Members Iain Baird Posted June 1, 2013 Premium Members Report Share Posted June 1, 2013 I'm about to replace my UltraBrite 1 and I'm hoping I can use it as a semi-portable Directors monitor. I say semi-portable because after putting all the accessories together it will need it'll be kinda bulky, but I'd rather find a use for it than admit how much it has depreciated since purchase!! (especially painful since they released the HD-SDI version 2 not long after I purchased my version 1) I've been able to source out all the pieces I'll need except a portable HD-SDi to HD component converter. I've found analogue component converters but nothing for HD to HD. Does anyone know of a company still making them or a brand that has since been discontinued? I saw it in my search before posting this but the ANALOG part threw me as I had HD on the brain. Having now read the specs I see that it will suit my purposes just fine. Good size and price too.
