Premium Members Nils Valkenborgh Posted June 4, 2013 Premium Members Report Share Posted June 4, 2013 Baerbel makes a nice 15mm rod system that fits both 1.5" and 2" posts, it's pretty solid. http://shop.strato.de/epages/61417979.sf/en_US/?ObjectPath=/Shops/61417979/Products/%22Monitor%20arm%20birod%
Premium Members William Demeritt Posted June 9, 2013 Premium Members Report Share Posted June 9, 2013 I'll post pics later, but I did want to clarify my tongue-in-cheek response. I have the Sachtler tilting telescopic monitor arm , and I'm very happy with it. How I have it on my rig allows me to keep the monitor very tight to the rig (or away from the rig if I wish), and I can set the height relative to the batteries to ensure I'm coplanar for whatever battery configuration I might have. 1 battery or 3, I can set the height. Further, since the arm stretches down from the tilting rosette, the monitor feels more stable than if the telescoping arms went straight out. Plus the position with the Cinetronic monitor yoke limits the possibility of spinning loose due to horizontal forces.

Premium Members Joshua Gitersonke Posted September 1, 2013 Premium Members Report Share Posted September 1, 2013 Action products has had this type of monitor yoke for a while now. They use a carbon tube and aluminum arms. But it comes with 19mm rod support. You might be able to get it with 15mm, I'm not sure. But the uses of this type o monitor mount is awesome. Premium Members Benjamin Treplin Posted September 1, 2013 Premium Members Report Share Posted September 1, 2013 I can only second Osvaldo's praise! It's AMAZING indeed!!!!!!!!!!!! Super lightweight, rock solid, tool free. Set and forget friction at the tilt axis. A fair price IMHO.
