Easily upgrade PRO Atlas arm to PRO Titan arm

So the guys at PRO just told me that any customer who bought a Atlas arm who in the future wishes to upgrade to the Titan arm when they have the money can just return the Atlas arm to PRO for a $ credit toward the purchase of a Titan arm. The dollar amount depends on the condition of the returned arm, but this eliminates the hassle and time of trying to sell your used Atlas arm on the forum when trying to upgrade.

Wow! What a deal for the guys just getting started in this craft! I wish these deals were around when I got started.

Osvaldo that's what I did. I didn't want to give up the up/down range of the atlas so I have both. Now back to the canyon. I really hope he doesn't fall. He's completely untethered with no safety, walking across a thin wire in 30 mph winds 1500 feet above a dry rocky canyon live on tv. What could go wrong?

I know it's unrelated to the main topic, but what show is that? It sounds like man on wire in the desert. What's the link?

About the arm, this is one more reason for me to ger a pro arm as my next arm (might be in at least a couple of years though)

Sorry we're thread-jacking:

I do like the upgrade potential quite a bit with PRO. Does anyone want to chime in on why their arms are so well regarded? Is there something about the tuning of the compression canisters? Guessing they're less "linear" in feel than regular springs?

Thx...

here's the best way to describe it. It Just works. You don't notice it. You don't have to play with a lift knob and "ride" (Friction) knob. The force curve is perfectly designed. It never needs work and maintence is stupid simple (remove spring cartridges, run chassis under a garden hose, dry and reinstall spring cartridges)

This is an amazing policy and just another example of PRO's commitment to our needs.

I'm one ATLAS owner who just traded it for a TITAN and could not be happier with the upgrade path : Sent my arm in, couple of hours later, got an offer for the trade and I'm sending the remaining balance next week to get the TITAN. Painless, secure and lightning fast service. That was easy.
