The colors are nothing but jacketing over copper wire - and each wire is the same copper (usually). You can attach any color you want to any pin on the hirose you want. What matters is then how you correspond the wires with the connector pins at the other end of the cable. One general rule, however, is ground is usually black and the + voltage is usually red.
