Alexa Low mode top handle

I've got an alexa shoot tomorrow. Its one shot total. Its just a slow push. Should be pretty quick and easy. I was thinking about mounting my dovetail to the top handle to get a couple inches lower. I've done this before with the ET cheese stick and got a tiny amount of vibration. Alexa handle does seems beefier.

Anyone advise against this?

What about just flipping the camera with the rig. I understand the necessity of keeping the camera up for film but what is the bonus with digital?

The Alexa does not have image flip yet. It's not as easy as just flipping the camera!! There was a time when with an upside down image all you had to do was flip the ONE video village monitor, which was rather easy. Now quite often there are about 3-4 monitor stations on set, between the DP, DIT, Director, Video Playback..... and they all have rather large monitors that don't flip very easily. As a result mounting the camera from the top handle is almost a must for low mode on the Alexa.
