ripleyfilm
Hi there, Was wondering if anyone had any tips about good - cheap - steadicams to use with the Canon XL2. Movement would be with the cam operator mainly going backwards. I've been recommended the Steadicam JR but it looks impossibly lightweight to me...?! Any suggestions would be appreciated.. mattmarek
good and cheap and steadicam cannot be put into the same sentence :D well, actually they can : 'you cannot get a good steadicam for too cheap ' :D if you're on a super tight budget, you may want to look at a do it yourself approach. Matt <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Hire someone who has a Flyer. Especially if you have no experience. You can't just pick up a rig, any rig, and do it well. Matt <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Hi Matt, What is the price range to define cheap? Will US$2,000 for the rig to use with XL2 be cheap? Just interested to know.
