Premium Members Joshua Gitersonke Posted December 29, 2013 Premium Members Report Share Posted December 29, 2013 +1 for the Actioncam. I don't think it's really given a chance here in the states either. I know most of the guys here mostly have or at least talk about Pro, Xcs, Tiffen, Satchler, but the Action Products Rebel arm will do up to 77 lbs and is very smooth. It has a much longer boom range ( 37" ) than I think all the other arms. Correct me if I'm wrong. It's a very easily upgrade able system because you basically just add more springs to the arm. There are 8 springs possible in each arm section. As far as I know the arm isn't a knock off of any other either. It has it's own unique system which is very simple and easy to repair. Although I haven't heard of anyone having any problems with their arms ever. The vest is super comfy. Adjustable to all sizes of human being. It's a back mounted vest so if you are a front mounted vest kinda guy it might not be your preference. But I like it a lot. I don't mind a front mounted vest either though. Instead of re posting exactly what Mark posted ill just go ahead and say give Action Products a look. They are a good family run company that makes a really quality product. I think if more people tried them out they might like them. If your in LA you can come by and check mine out. No probs. cheers
Premium Members Joshua Gitersonke Posted January 8, 2014 Premium Members Report Share Posted January 8, 2014 Here are a few pics of my new sled. From AP. I still need to cut the carbon rod for the yoke. The small hd was a little wider than the rod that the yoke came with so I had to get a longer one. But I love the way this thing packs up. And the options for where the monitor can be are great.
Premium Members Andre Perron SOC Posted February 15, 2014 Premium Members Report Share Posted February 15, 2014 I currently own the EFP HD 1.5" post and I need an upgrade since I'll be using heavier cameras from now on. I want to go for the CINE HD PRO, with a 1.8" post as well. I wanted to know how I could do all of this while selling my original sled because we're talking about big bucks, here. I have contacted Curt Schaller. Problem = solved! There are many companies out there, many great products. But one of the most important thing for me as an owner is service. When you go for an Artemis, you can be absolutely sure that you will get a VIP service, whoever you are. Curt Schaller is taking care of everything you may need. He's a great operator (so he knows what you are talking about) and he is the Artemis designer (he definitely knows what he's talking about!). Great sled WITH great service! What else could you ask for?
