Jamie star
Hello guys Hope every one is well. I've come on hear to ask for a little advice. Let me tell you a little about me first I'm late 20's started my career as a GBCT camera trainee, from there started to 2nd AC it's at this point that work soon dried up and wasn't getting the contacts or the right breaks so was really struggling. I was at this point asked to help out a different department (the video department) which I met the right people and didn't stop working, The only problem is which niggles me every day, is the dream and reason I first got into the industry was to one day hopefully fly a steadicam.. I just wanted to ask for a little advice on what people thought might be the best way to steer myself back to this career. I don't want to necessarily do the camera ranks again and have enquired about courses that I haven't heard back from. Any advice and help good or bad would be hugely appreciated Thank you all for your time Jamie

Also I asked the NFTS in beaconsfield england which I just heard back from to which they said it would be a waste of my money. I'm currently reading the operators hand book but like it says in there and from all I've read on here do a workshop. i really want to do one so when I do start practicing I will be doing it correctly.
