Premium Members Iain Baird Posted September 27, 2013 Premium Members Report Share Posted September 27, 2013 I do recall mention of a "latest and greatest" Alexa plate about to hit the market but haven't seen it yet. In the meantime I'm still using the small and simple spacer plate that allows me to attach my current dovetails. I've yet to have any problems with what at first glance appears to be a very small point of contact between camera and dovetail relative to total length of the camera setup. I've flown all sorts of lenses with no noticeable vibration problems and until I do I see no need for another solution. IB Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Other then not working on the Alexa studio I find no issue with it. It is extremely low profile and you do not need anything from he rental house to make it work. It is the ALX-STBP bracket.
