Airpul long distance video transmitter without delay

Brad, we the steadicam community have seen a lot of companies come and go over the years that promise the next big thing only to produce nothing after running off with the money of the few faithful that were prepared invest early in them. As a result we tend to be very skeptical of anyone who makes claims such as you have here and is then unwilling to make any effort to back them up. You haven't even managed to show anyone a physical product let alone allowed them to see any test results.

I could draw a CAD design up and tell everyone that it is powerful enough to drill a hole in the moon but until we all see a doughnut hanging in the sky there is going to be skepticism. Take Victor's advice and allow someone to test it or you might find your customer base walking away from you before you even start.

2, How could we trust people who are not able to pay sample`s fee, and Airpul promise refund sample`s fee if the customer are not satisfied with testing result.

... because the people you would send it to are the most trusted people in the business. If you were to send a sample to Eric Fletcher and he came to the conclusion that this sample is amazing (he probably won't), he would probably in the end;

1- buy back your sample,

2- give you tips on how to make it more efficient for us users.

3- other operators may contact you and start being interested.

This is how every single company does in the steadicam world. (Why am I teaching you your job, I don't know).

Example with the Exovest from Tiffen. Prototypes have been going from operator to operator all around the globe to try it out. the product is still not out and a lot of people are ready to buy it from the hype it created, plus they have made many changes from the feedbacks. Oh and it's worth $6495.00 for purchase.

Same thing with Cinetronic and their Gen2 monitor ($5k) and many other.

There are many good solutions already existing in your sector. (Boxx, Paralinx, Teradek, Switronix, and many more) and they seem to have a few strong advantages against you.

1- they are listening to their customers, and not fighting them.

2- their product is actually out and not just a render. (we have too many vaporwares)

3- they have zero delay, your H.264 encoding will have a longer delay no matter how well you implement it, plus loss of image quality.

Also, know that some of the people on this forum know as much, if not more about wireless transmission and other technologies than you. (all of us use them, some of us make them)

I am sorry, but these are the points people are reacting to.

Show us a working prototype and allow a few good operators to test in in the field for a couple of months (it's a gamble but if you don't want to gamble $4k, this business might not be for you.

Ps: most of the things I wrote here, I learned if from reading this forum. Go through it and you will see for yourself.

Hi Victor, thanks so much for your great advice. I believe all your guys are professional and trusted people. I deeply understand your guys situation. I`ll follow up your advice and send free sample to few good operators for testing. We are rebuilding our website right now and more testing videos could be showed on our new website.

Hi Airpul LLC, first I wanted to let you know that you will need to change your screen name to your real name, that's the forum policy. You can brand yourself in your signature.

Congratulations on your new website, but I still don't see what everyone here requested, that is real photos of the products, not renders, as well as demo videos of the product.

Why is Brad not posting for you anymore?

Cool, there sales rep, promised a test unit, now some other air pull bloke emails me to remove the sales price the quoted me before by email. uh???? You quote me this and now its a secret?

Now this again today

Hi Job,

I noted that you contacted with our sales manager Brad Mao, and he promise you send sample to you for testing, however, you paste message of quote from Airpul in this Forum. Your behavior hurts Airpul deeply. How could we trust you and send sample to you for testing?

Tom from Airpul LLC

Dear Tom,

First thing you will need to learn from this community is this. We all know each other and we are a community. We don't like dubble agenda's and we don't like this kind of BS. I ask for a demo and i ask for a price. You gave me that price, so its no secret. You promised me a test/demo unit 2 months ago and now you don't want to send me a demo becose i told people the price you quoted me.

You know what, keep that unit becose it could hurt you if it das not preform the way it should. It could hurt you if i tell what i think of it when it sucks. It can only help you if its a good product, thats a risk yes, but its the only way to convince us that you are a legit company that tells us its a american company but emails from china

Good luck, but i don't deal with people with strange storys

I am out

The big question is what has Airpul got to hide? If they don't think we are going to discuss the pros and cons of their system amongst ourselves why would you bother coming onto a public forum to announce it?

By putting your money where your mouth is you have everything to gain and nothing to lose if the product is as good as you claim it to be. And if it doesn't prove to be as good as you had hoped in the real world application then take on board any concerns and work on improving it. It is a win win situation for you. You only stand to lose if you are not being truthful and are being found out.
