Premium Members Rupert Nel Posted October 20, 2013 Premium Members Report Share Posted October 20, 2013 Hi guys, Has anyone used the Lilliput model 663/S monitor? If so, what is your thoughts on the monitor? It seems like it might be useful to get as a back up and for indoor use, not so sure about using it outdoors. After looking at some vids/reviews online, I am still not sure whether this monitor allows the user to manually adjust the screen markers/framelines to the users specification. I have contacted the supplier in the UK, still waiting for reply. Regards, Rupert www.steadicamcapetown.co.za
Premium Members Nathan Wong Posted October 20, 2013 Premium Members Report Share Posted October 20, 2013 its not a bad monitor for the price. the screen is reflective, get some matte protection on it. Work best indoors.

Premium Members Michael Desiderio Posted November 6, 2013 Premium Members Report Share Posted November 6, 2013 I have the 663 S with SDI function I just made a short step through of some of the functions for you, including the usable frame lines and center crossmark http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eK44qHXOe2c&feature=youtu.be Really great if you get it with the transflective coating - I special ordered this one directly from the manufacturer Great for framing in broad, direct daylight. Wouldn't count on it for color and details in direct sunlight but you can still frame well.
