Moderators Louis Puli SOC Posted October 23, 2013 Moderators Report Share Posted October 23, 2013 Hi Brian With everything you get what you pay for ok. For me to have SILENCE for video village is worth every cent and thats what you get when using the Boxx HD standard system .It just works.I also leave it at a rental house and commercial producers love it and don't mind paying for it . For me it's money well spent .I know have 3 systems (non broadcast receiver) Good luck Louis
Evrim KAYA
i just bought a Teradek BoltPRO set of 1 TX / 2 RX and i must say i'm extremely happy with my investment. the advertised 300 feet range (line of sight) is absolutely a true value. i'm going to make a handheld monitor with one of the RXs. i recommend strongly this little marvel. Premium Members chris fawcett Posted October 23, 2013 Premium Members Report Share Posted October 23, 2013 Ah, how we love what we have—when it works!  Transvideo Titan HD (&SD) still going strong after all these years.  Chris

Premium Members Charles Papert Posted October 24, 2013 Premium Members Report Share Posted October 24, 2013 Well, if anyone wants to go old school (aka SD and analog), I have a Dynawave (digital Modulus) and Camos system up for sale here:  http://www.charlespapert.net/gearsale/Dynwave_Camos.html  That tech served us all well not all that long ago, and probably better now that there is less clutter on the analog frequencies. Premium Members Lars Erik Posted October 24, 2013 Premium Members Report Share Posted October 24, 2013 True Charles, Â but I decided to go HD long time ago. Think I got Boxx as customer nr 19 or something. Anyway, I got it because I was tired of hearing video village shout; Â "Why the f#*k is the image so shitty?!" Â Gotta love those directors. Premium Members Charles Cowper Posted November 21, 2013 Premium Members Report Share Posted November 21, 2013 Hi Evrim, do the bolt tx or rx get very hot during use? Does the rx need to be placed high up, eg on a stand? Thanks :)

Premium Members Victor Lazaro Posted November 21, 2013 Premium Members Report Share Posted November 21, 2013 Hi Charles. Yes as every wireless system try get hot. As for putting it up high. It is not mandatory but it will definitely help with the range. Treat those two little boxes as antennas especially the plastic tip.
Premium Members Richard W. Davis Posted November 21, 2013 Premium Members Report Share Posted November 21, 2013 I have a Boxx and a Teradeck Bolt both… The Boxx is the rock star, but at a rock star price. It is a set it up and mostly not have to worry about it. The Bolt has to be moved around or adjusted depending on obstructions, distance etc.  As far as heat goes… The BOXX does not get very hot on the outside. The Teradeck gets very hot, you cannot really velcro it on anywhere as the velcro glue usually melts.  My .02 cents  Rich Davis LA CA
