Hi Brian

With everything you get what you pay for ok. For me to have SILENCE for video village is worth every cent and thats what you get when using the Boxx HD standard system .It just works.I also leave it at a rental house and commercial producers love it and don't mind paying for it .

For me it's money well spent .I know have 3 systems (non broadcast receiver)

Good luck

Louis

Well, if anyone wants to go old school (aka SD and analog), I have a Dynawave (digital Modulus) and Camos system up for sale here:

That tech served us all well not all that long ago, and probably better now that there is less clutter on the analog frequencies.

True Charles,

but I decided to go HD long time ago. Think I got Boxx as customer nr 19 or something. Anyway, I got it because I was tired of hearing video village shout;

"Why the f#*k is the image so shitty?!"

Gotta love those directors.

I have a Boxx and a Teradeck Bolt both… The Boxx is the rock star, but at a rock star price. It is a set it up and mostly not have to worry about it. The Bolt has to be moved around or adjusted depending on obstructions, distance etc.

As far as heat goes… The BOXX does not get very hot on the outside. The Teradeck gets very hot, you cannot really velcro it on anywhere as the velcro glue usually melts.

My .02 cents
