Premium Members Taj Teffaha Posted March 23, 2014 Author Premium Members Report Share Posted March 23, 2014 We are shooting at 23.98 and it works.
Premium Members Rick Drapkin Posted March 23, 2014 Premium Members Report Share Posted March 23, 2014 If you shoot at 24 fps, you will have an image, but there will be a very slow vertical roll.
Premium Members John atkinson Posted March 23, 2014 Premium Members Report Share Posted March 23, 2014 If you shoot at 24 fps, you will have an image, but there will be a very slow vertical roll. That will go away if you set the monitor output to 24P rather than 24psf. JA
Premium Members Taj Teffaha Posted March 24, 2014 Author Premium Members Report Share Posted March 24, 2014 FYI The Camwave uses the same boards as the Teradek Bolt. We seem to have the same range on set as well. Less fuss with cables. Just an Anton Bauer and good to go. Save some doe You know what I mean Peace

Premium Members Taj Teffaha Posted March 26, 2014 Author Premium Members Report Share Posted March 26, 2014 Only two legal transmission chips in the world made and Camwave, Boxx and Bolt use the same one. Only difference is how it's powered and programmed. Either way, we tested both the Bolt and Cw-5 on set and they performed equally. Sold
Premium Members Alan Rencher Posted March 26, 2014 Premium Members Report Share Posted March 26, 2014 The Camwave and the Boxx use previous generation modules. Also, I don't know what you mean by "legal". There are other brand that are legal, and they have the FCC IDs to prove it.
Premium Members Taj Teffaha Posted March 26, 2014 Author Premium Members Report Share Posted March 26, 2014 Yes No doubt other brands use the same chips
