Swit A/B mount

anyone has some experience with those Swit A/B batteries??

I considered getting some of those, they just half the price of a dionic, but I already have a A/B charger and as most manufactures states you should only load original AB batteries on the charger.

 

any thoughts??

At that price, I'd suggest to look at PAG L96E, they come with any mount of your choice. Reliable batteries, light and small. The E version is the cheapest (no lcd readout, only digimeter).

I doubt that an A/B charger will work with non A/B batteries...

I bought some SWITs with a view to replacing my old hytrons, no they don't charge properly on an AB charger, however the SWIT charger is not expensive.

I have had Swit batteries and charger in gold mount for about 3 years before coming back to genuine AB products . 2 of the 3 chargers failed at one point . One battery died by being dropped on the floor once . Battery gauge was never accurate. Not worth it if you ask me . I actually opened one of the defect charger at one time to find what seemed a cheap laptop ac converter bundled in electrical tape with the extra cord powering the charger boards.... Service was good from local dealer , if thats any help .

I own swit 8 batteries (2-88WH and 6 - 190wh)

 

88WH batteries are 2005 and even give power to my monitor Transvideo HD6" about 4 hours

 

190wh batteries are 2007 and are able to give power a camera Grass Valley 300, follow focus and Gigawave transmitter and control data for slightly more than 2 hours

 

 

I have a charger Swit since 2005 and has never failed me and Bebob charger that charges the batteries perfectly

just had a phone talk with a reseller and they told me that AB is changing their prices from 1st of FEB, but she could not tell me if up - or downwards :/

 

anyone knows more about this?? Is it smart to wait or will they probably rise their prices??
