Jordan-Rhys Jeans
Hey, Does anybody have any suggestions for a good ac bag? I have been looking at the CineBags Production Bag, and the Arri Production bag. Advice? Thanks.
Premium Members Alan Rencher Posted February 24, 2014 Premium Members Report Share Posted February 24, 2014 I have a Cinebag, and I like it. but if I were to get a new bag, I would either go with the Arri, or the Fikenca bag.
Mark Baluk
Seconded on the Fikenca bags. You can get exactly what you want made.

Premium Members James Davis Posted April 4, 2014 Premium Members Report Share Posted April 4, 2014 90% of the AC's I meet in England use panavision bags made by a small company called doggybag. They seem to last through years of use/abuse.

Premium Members Andrew Ansnick Posted April 24, 2014 Premium Members Report Share Posted April 24, 2014 Modular 51, or better yet the company that makes their bags for them. They are by far and away the preferred bag by most AC's here it seems. Modular 51 doesn't have the greatest communication and really long lead times which is why I say go to the source! www.Fikenca.com Attn:Babitacontact is 604 755 9944 or info@fikenca.com Cinebags tend to wear out quickly and aren't weather proof. Arri is good too but the layout of the M51/Fikenca bags are better in my opinion.
Premium Members RonBaldwin Posted April 24, 2014 Premium Members Report Share Posted April 24, 2014 Tim Moynahan at Rockseady bags can also get the Modular 51 bags...same stuff with his logo. He was fast and good to deal with. I have a large aks bag a Preston bag and their armbag. I also have an Arri bag and I think the Mod 51/RockSteady/Fikenca bags are better
Premium Members Andrew Ansnick Posted April 24, 2014 Premium Members Report Share Posted April 24, 2014 Do you have Tim's contact info Ron? Or a link to their website? Would love to check them out, thanks! A quick google search came up with nothing.

Premium Members RonBaldwin Posted April 24, 2014 Premium Members Report Share Posted April 24, 2014 Thanks Jens -- I just pm'd him here on the forum. He was really good about getting back to me. If you cannot get him pm me and I will send you his # Looks like he is updating his site but his supplier is the same person who makes the bags for mod51 so you can browse their site but don't use them, they will take forever and not get back to you.
