Aaron
The original Merlin cookbook website is down but I'm not sure if it will help anyway. I can't get my t3i with Canon 18-55mm kit lens to balance. I've read the manual, watched numerous how to's, and i'm still having trouble. Does anyone have the specs for this combo (seems pretty standard)? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Aaron
Thanks for the reply. The merlin2cookbook's specs for the Canon 600D (Canon LP-E8) [Canon Lens EF 35mm 1:1.4 L (the closest to my equipment t3i with 18-55mm kit lens) Haven't worked for me. I also assumed that since I have the merlin 1 there may be some differences? Anyway, I'm still not able to get proper balance
Premium Members Victor Lazaro Posted March 2, 2014 Premium Members Report Share Posted March 2, 2014 The cookbook is more like a general guidance to find a good balance, you will have to do some fine tuning yourself depending on your exact setup and of your personal preferences. keep on paying with the settings (angle, camera position...) around the recipe and see if it helps or gets worst then keep on fine tuning.
