bobgilles
The real plane or set, I saw it in Ohio on CNN yesterday??? Okay, Okay... "AR" it is. Just finished another day in Air Force One. Had to go down a corridor through a door to get into the Presidents cabin and then go around his desk finishing in a catchers stance at desk level for the rest of the scene. Holding that stance was brutal compared to how comfortable I could have been with the AR. Plus I could have gone right over the desk instead of around it. I can't wait... Nicholas M. Chopp
"Do I detect another reason to hold our breath 'till NAB?" <sigh> The first time in three years I won't be there, and it just HAD to be this year. Arg.
Premium Members RobVanGelder Posted March 12, 2005 Premium Members Report Share Posted March 12, 2005 Hi Rob / Matt How are you? All will be revealed very soon... many thanks Howard <{POST_SNAPBACK}> As I have heard "whispering" there are already some sytems "in the field", more than ten! I´m not sure about this but it is clear that the "non-disclosure conditions" hold up very well. We had some nice stories earlier but now everybody is guessing. Please fill us in! mattmarek
yeah. i've heard they're in the field as well, so this would mean the 'non-disclosure clause' does not hold no? now that they've been on set and seen by crew, talent, extras, on lookers etc. cuh mon! :D

Premium Members ChadPersons Posted March 20, 2005 Premium Members Report Share Posted March 20, 2005 I've recieved most of my AR. I'm just missing one piece and then I'll be using it in the field. If anyone would like to see or try using it once I have the last piece is welcome. All the Best, Chad Persons
Premium Members Evan Barthelman Posted March 22, 2005 Premium Members Report Share Posted March 22, 2005 You're on, Chad. You've made a generous offer, don't be surprised if we ALL show up on your doorstep for a glimpse of the AR in action. I can't wait to see it. -Evan
Premium Members Charles Papert Posted March 22, 2005 Premium Members Report Share Posted March 22, 2005 Be prepared for a thorough frisking--after all, that would be the doorstep of the White House! Chad, out of curiousity, are you finding the marathon hallway shots a lot easier this year since "West Wing" went 16mm? Any other notes on the format change (including A Cam observations)? Any other notes on the format change (including A Cam observations)? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Indeed, I'm curious too. I like the new look. (Great show, and one of my roommate's is a HUGE, OBSESSIVE fan) What's the history of the format with West Wing? I was watching some of season one, and it looks so drastically different from some of the later stuff. (Lighting's a lot flatter, there's some massive diffusion going on, etc.)
