Premium Members Allee Chance Posted March 13, 2014 Premium Members Report Share Posted March 13, 2014 This ring light Mini is a daylight balanced Flood on camera light kit. The Ringlite Mini is an on camera light featuring 72 LED lights; the element encircles the lens and offers a direct, soft, adjustable and innovative lighting capability. This light is 10.5" in diameter and is designed to work with professional film and video cameras. Control Ringlite controls lighting through three separate, adjustable circuits. Operators can select 24, 48 or the full 72 LED segments. Thanks to its heat-free and flicker-free output, Ringlite can be moved in close with no discomfort to the subject. The system's ergonomic integrated dimmer control enables instant dimming from 100% to 0 with minimal shift in color. For additional lighting refinement, a set of interchangeable correction/diffusion gels is available

Premium Members Philip J. Martinez SOC Posted March 13, 2014 Premium Members Report Share Posted March 13, 2014 I like this ring lite but prefer to mount it with this bracket. Using either 15mm or 19mm rods http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/532303-REG/Litepanels_RMB15_RLM_RMB_Film_and_Video.html This kit looks like it has the base that screws into the bottom of the camera. The one that comes standard with the kit. How much indeed. I'd like to have one in my kit
Premium Members Osvaldo Silvera SOC Posted March 14, 2014 Premium Members Report Share Posted March 14, 2014 That is absolutely the right bracket to use Philip, I wish I had it on Monday. I have the Kamio 6 clamp on ring lightswith and w/o the filter stages and those are very nice as well. The Litepanels one is bigger in diameter Here it is on a short zoom on an Epic not a very good pic, but I'll try and get a sharper one.
