Clearance for Rod Adapter and Matte Box on Archer 2

I have an interesting scenario. I know adding photos here would be helpful but I am not near the rig now to do so.

I'm flying an F35 fully equipped with everything. The Arri matte box I picked up for cheap is a 6x6 studio 15.

Under the F35 the Sony baseplate has a 15 LWS coming out of it, so I have adapted the 15LWS to Studio 15 on the matte box with an Zacuto Z-J-1 JEEP Rod Adapter.

All is well with this configuration up to this point except for the fact that the Rod Adapter now comes in to contact with the front of the nosebox on my Archer 2 stage.

I cant move CG back to where it is supposed to be since this adapter is hitting the nosebox. I have moved everything I can to the back of the rig to help move CG as well, but no cigars.

Previously we added an Arri baseplate to the sled but I AM NOT DOING THAT AGAIN, way too heavy for the Archers rated load and for me for that matter.

1. Can I / Should I remove the nosebox?

OR

2. Is there a plate I can mount to above the Steadicam dovetail plate to help provide the clearance I need?

I am well aware of weight plates as I actually have a few, but in this case I need something very lightweight to help provide that clearance without adding significant weight to the sled.

Any recommendations would be super helpful or anywhere I can purchase lightweight plates.

Thanks!

-Adam

Jerry,

Any idea where to purchase an aluminum riser? I know a few people who can manufacture probably but if I can buy one right off the shelf that would be ideal as production picks up again on Saturday.

And Victor, that is a good question. But it looks like a pain to have to move it.

I meant flipping the whole top stage by twisting the center post backward. 2 second procedure. I believe you can do this with the Archer 2 as well.

As for risers,

Victor, just got the same piece of information from another Op. But with that piece of info I dont believe I have a center mark on the backside, the rig could be put out of alignment without a mark to go off of.

Gonna try tonight.

I also didn't think to do that because I am scared to coil the inside cables too much, but they had noted as long as you remember the direction you went and go back in the same direction when done, it should be fine. We will see.
