Premium Members Adam Smith Posted April 29, 2014 Premium Members Report Share Posted April 29, 2014 My gaff tape mark for which way I turned the sled fell off. I was making clearance for a matte box and rails and turned the post 180 degrees around so I could put the nose box to the back of the sled. Anyone know how to find out which way I turned? I now run the possibility of turning the post a full 360 degrees and I understand that I may coil up the power and video cables inside too much. -Adam
Evrim KAYA
Hello Adam, that also happened to me too a couple of times before i made a habit of turning the top stage only in clockwise direction (duh!) You might wanna extend one of your posts all the way, past red line and separate the posts and reveal the coil cables inside. there should be two thin rubber tubes inside the coil. these rubber tubes should be parallel to each other if they twist at some point you should rotate your base to make them parallel again. problem solved ;) fly safe.
