Premium Members matthew pearce Posted May 12, 2014 Premium Members Report Share Posted May 12, 2014 Not sure when to post this but..... Im looking to see if anyone has used a MOVI or Ronin on a hands free segway with a steadicam arm/ hard mount? I'm doing a project that requires 50 minute takes on the segway and the hard mount/arm steadicam with antlers is not getting it done due to wind/ bumps and uneven terrain. thanks Matthew 310 721 6347
Premium Members Sanjay Sami Posted May 13, 2014 Premium Members Report Share Posted May 13, 2014 Does it have to be a segway ? You could mount a Techno 15 with Libra 3 on a Polaris 6x6 quad and get pretty much any shot that you could do on a hard mounted steadicam. John Kopec
Reach out to Pedro Guimaraes. I know he worked on the Ronin promo video as an operator and I believe he used his Segway. I think it was just handheld though; no mounting bracket. But I'm sure he's got ideas how to make it work.
