How I can recover my m-one motors

I had a Loon M-One I had to send to Don, and I have to say, that man would seem to have his pants very much on fire. Dropped the motor off at Abel NYC to have them send it in, and after a couple months, and many, many phonecalls, and having Abel intervene, I finally got my motor back. Don LIED when he said he shipped it back, as it came in several weeks after he claimed to have shipped it, and I have the shipment date on the tracking info.

Totally unacceptable. While Loon makes a great motor, do not buy from them.

Also, when I purchased it through Abel, initial delivery was 2 months after my Bartech had been delivered, and these items were ordered at the same time.

Quad;

Legally I don't know much but clearly the bad guys have a lot of leverage as I've said before

Personally. I'd try calling the film office where he is and registering a compliant and I'd call the states attorney general where he is.

Posting here is as good anything to keep others from falling victim

You may not get your motors back but maybe you could get his attention

Again only legal is the way to go.

Janice

Have a great weekend

Quaid,

Sorry to hear about your motor. For me, I began calling everyday, sometimes from friend's phones, and emailing daily. I finally got my gear back when I told him (via email) that if I didn't have either a) my motor completely fixed, b) a brand new motor, or c) a full refund, by a certain date I would be calling a lawyer. His response was something to the affect of "Ok, motor will be sent." No apology, no explanation, just one sentence saying he'd do it. As soon as I received my motor, I immediately posted it for sale and bought a heden.

It's really unfortunate that it has to go to that extreme. I was always happy with my M-One but couldn't stick with Don if he can't provide service for his customers.

Good luck.
