Weldon Posted September 26, 2014 Report Posted September 26, 2014 I'm wondering what some of the small or smaller compact isoelastic arms available for under 5 lb systems, including mirrorless digital, iphone, go pros ... etc. My main concern would be single axis horizontal stabiliation. I'm looking to stabilize the system while walking (no running jumping or stairs) so the "travel" of the arm or spring can be less than a foot. If there's a kit out there that would be wonderful - but I'm willing to go the DIY route. Thanks in advance for any help. Quote
Weldon Posted September 26, 2014 Author Report Posted September 26, 2014 Correction I meant vertical stabilization instead of horizontal. Oops sorry  Quote

Premium Members Alan Rencher Posted September 26, 2014 Premium Members Report Posted September 26, 2014 ... The human arm works pretty well for loads under 5 lbs. 1 Quote
Premium Members Victor Lazaro Posted September 26, 2014 Premium Members Report Posted September 26, 2014 There isn't nearly enough mass to keep momentum and stabilize the camera with anything under 5 pounds. Like Alan said, is your arm! Quote
