Premium Members Martin Stacey Posted October 28, 2014 Premium Members Report Share Posted October 28, 2014 To those of you using the Meridian on live OB's I need your help with a technical issue we are trying to solve. I have the broadcast Meridian and upon testing the delay after feeding a timecode through the transmitter and genlocking the broadcast receiver to the truck we found that while the frame was in sync there was about a 50 line drop/delay in the the frame. To get around this we then put it through a framestore which added a frame delay as it went to the next full frame. Is there a way around this to avoid adding that frame? Another option to set this up. We checked the Genlock delay on the receiver and it was set to zero. Would we be better to drop the Genlock and run through a framestore instead?
