Moderators Alec Jarnagin SOC Posted November 9, 2014 Moderators Report Share Posted November 9, 2014 OK, so I had an old Panatape Interface cable sitting around (but wait…. you said "Cinetape Interface cable"…. keep reading) which I only used a few times. Discovered recently that the board in it died (the fabulous Focus Puller Bobby Mancuso still uses a Panatape). Anyway, sent it to Preston to discover it would be $205 to replace the board. Not worth it to me, but then they offered to replace it with a Cinetape board and swap the connector (for an additional $43.75). I already own this cable for my MDR-2 as well as the one without the interface box for my MDR-3 so I have no need. This cable costs $620 new. I'll sell it AS IS for $100. Its still at Preston, you can then get the repairs made and have essentially a brand new Cinetape interface cable (or Panatape if you prefer) for approx $350. Thanks.
