Hello All,

Due to the difficulties with posting photos under the "General Discussion" section I will continue this post under the SLEDS section using the same heading; "Beta Testers Wanted Instant Release Top Stage".

See you there!

Regards,

Dean,

Congratulations on finally getting the box going. Don't know if you still have the "Jarnagin knob" on it (the funny thing is that I don't even remember what it was - just that you listen to your customers' suggestions!). When you have one in NYC let me, I'd love to take a look. Truthfully, I don't think I'm in the market for one anymore as I couldn't wait and opted for a PRO DB3, but I always like to look. Your box looks smaller, lighter, and is presumably cheaper, so it sounds great. One point of concern, you have a lot of the surface area cut out (similar to a DB2), how do you feel this has effected its rigidity? I used to think it was great to have less material here, but I have found that my DB3 is solid and it is better protected form the elements by eliminating this.

Again, please let me know when one makes it to NYC and good lick.

Respectfully,

Hi Alec,

Thaks for your post. I remember our conversations from way back when we first started this project and have designed many topstages since then. Unfortunately, it proved to be more difficult and time consuming than first expected and just another few weeks became a few months which became over a year - it has also been a very expensive process making one offs and we didn't always have the R&D funds available immediately after each new design. Anyway, we are happy to say that we are at the beta testing stage which is a good step forward and the best way to know whether it literally does the job or not. I will ad you to the beta test list and let you know when it comes your way. I hope you 'lick' it.

Also are you aware that this thread was continued under the sleds section where I have a lot more information and heaps of photos?

...Also are you aware that we have a demo Silver Spring Arm in NYC at the moment? We will be shipping it around the country too.

Best regards,

Dean Merlo

it sounds good, and interesting... If you want a tester in Europe and the scandinavian part of the world then send one over...

I will take it for a spin and show it to others in Scandinavia. "Denmark,Sweden,Norway"

Hi Johan,

Thankyou for your post. We will have a demo in Europe at some stage after it has made its way around the USA. We have had enquiries from some of your neighbours so it would be good to have one being shown in Scandinavia. THanks. I will put you on the list and keep you informed of its whereabouts.

Kind Regards,

Dean.
