Premium Members Afton Grant Posted September 26, 2005 Premium Members Report Share Posted September 26, 2005 I'm looking to write up a working contract for myself. I'm wondering if anyone might have a sample contract, used when signing onto a job as an operator, that I could see? I know the primary points to hit: cost, hours, overtime, cancellations, insurance, etc... but I'm not familiar with the specific verbage that is used to cover those topics. I was thinking if I could take a look at one that's actually "official" it would help out a lot. Certainly don't send anything containing specific personal information, but a sample/generic one would be very helpful. It's probably naive to think there's one contract used for all jobs, correct? For now, I'm just looking for the basics, and I'll most likely adapt to suit different situations from there. Much appreciated, Afton Grant amgrant@yahoo.com
Premium Members Brant S. Fagan SOC Posted September 27, 2005 Premium Members Report Share Posted September 27, 2005 Gents-- I have a specific contract form that I can send to anyone who would like one. It covers the items listed by Afton and also some others like credits, footage access, and additional crew members. Let me know at firebrand@fmis.net Best, Brant S.
