Omar Sawalha
Hi, I operate a Zephyr and whilst balancing the rig a small plastic piece attaching my handle to the gamble broke. Luckily i grabbed the sled and camera before it crashed to the ground. that would have been a disaster. However i do not know what this piece is called or where i can get a replacement can anyone help me out? here are some pics Kind Regards Omar

Premium Members Chris Van Campen Posted March 30, 2015 Premium Members Report Share Posted March 30, 2015 Hi Omar - looks like part of the yoke broke. Definitely get in touch with Tiffen. I'm going to guess you'll have to ship it in for repair, as centering the yoke properly isn't a trivial repair... Good luck!

Premium Members Jerry Holway Posted March 30, 2015 Premium Members Report Share Posted March 30, 2015 I just checked with the factory. The plastic is just a bumper between the yoke and handle and is not structural. Somehow the screw backed out (metal to metal) and that's when things gave way. The fix on the way to Omar should prevent that from happening again.
