Dennis Dwyer
On my DB3, the lockdown lever is extremely loose. I've tried tightening the screws, but only one of them turns till it's tightened and the other screw keeps spinning as I try to tighten it. The lever is loose to point where if any vibration is felt through the sled, the lever would open up. Am I missing something or should I just replace the two screws? I've attatched an image for reference which screws I'm talking about. Thanks!
Premium Members Jarrett P. Morgan Posted April 30, 2015 Premium Members Report Share Posted April 30, 2015 Give Jack a call tomorrow. I am sure he will help figure out the issue. Sounds like that handle is stripped out on one side though. could be as simple as replacing it.
Premium Members Tom Wills Posted April 30, 2015 Premium Members Report Share Posted April 30, 2015 I'd watch this video - see if doing the steps in it for the DB3 tension setting helps you. Possible that you just need to re-set the tension. If not, I second the idea of calling Jack!

Premium Members Tommy Stork Posted May 1, 2015 Premium Members Report Share Posted May 1, 2015 There should be a ball detent that keeps the latch stowed away so that it doesn't swing open, but It sounds like the threads are stripped on the one side of the latch. If you're in LA I can take a quick look at it for you.
