Premium Members Jerry Holway Posted May 21, 2015 Premium Members Report Share Posted May 21, 2015 Karl- Is the little wedge restricted from traveling too far to engage the plate - if so, add a bit of paper tape to the far side of the camera dovetail. If it can travel far enough, the wedge may small for heavy loads and you need to really tighten it, perhaps more than a finger can do... but be very careful. It's possible that Tiffen still has a few of these parts lying around - ask. If not, it's easy enough for a machinist to remake any of the bits. The UK is an island of bankers and shop keepers. I cant find a machinist here. The dial was just spinning without tightening the wedge, I guess its thread has gone after 20 years.
