It is a range finder that has greater distance reading than the cine tape. Similar to a 'sniper' range finder. IR ranger is able of broadcasting it's data to the cini remote display, or integrating with the preston MDR thus able to have the data on a preston Hand Unit 3 The cini remote system allows you to broad cast cine tape data from the IR ranger or to remote display.
