Premium Members daniel hanit Posted August 18, 2015 Author Premium Members Report Share Posted August 18, 2015 I got one about a month ago. An awesome tool for Steadi ops that want to have the advantages of a Segway without carrying around the huge and heavy frame of the original. This one goes into a trunk of any car and it's actually much more comfortable to ride it than the Segway. Weighs half, and you can ride it inside an apartment and go through doors. Premium Members Jason Leeds Posted August 18, 2015 Premium Members Report Share Posted August 18, 2015 Daniel which model did you get? The "C"? Can you hard mount to it like a Steadiseg or are you in the vest?
Premium Members chris fawcett Posted August 19, 2015 Premium Members Report Share Posted August 19, 2015 Watch out! They don't deliver as much torque as a Segway. If you push the rig too far out in front of you, the machine won't recover. Fly safe, Chris
Premium Members daniel hanit Posted August 19, 2015 Author Premium Members Report Share Posted August 19, 2015 Jason, I got the E model and added the handsfree as an addition to the original full size handle, which I use when riding it for fun. I didn't hard mount it, I use it with a vest. Chris, thank you for your warning, I'll make sure not to push it to the limit.
