What I think is a more interesting question is: Kiril, what did YOU think of it? What are the parts you didn't like, were better on other takes, you would have done differently after the fact? And presumably if it's a few years old you've seen it in context of the finished piece--did you feel it worked, that the length of the shot was justified (very hard for anyone else to judge that, without sound design or experiencing it in context).

Charles, thank you, for specifying, on the important issues.

The story tells, about a woman, just made double murder with shotgun, in state of menyal disorder, searching for the source of obsessive, sound hallucination,( barking), connecting her, abstractly to the crime, in space (cheep hotel).

The sound, leading her to the stears DOWN (some where are dogs, and her sin), through absurd characters, whose language she is not are already drunk, dancing end celebrating.

She is Cold, Polite, Courtesy but also Friendly.I decided to emphasize and reinforce that mental contrast, framing actress as mathematical and geometrical imperative. literally drove teeth to her "soul" , ignoring completely, constantly tempting me, group shot compositions, and addit spoken.They ional narratives.

 

We did this scene for one day.
Two rehearsals - stop ang go .... Iphone rehearsals :))
The first two takes, were in practice normal rehearsal
3rd take - camera JAM...
4th and 5th, fully unlocked my intuition.
In the 6th take, after the seventh shift of sweaty T-shirt :)))I managed to consolidate all involved, about my thesis.
7th started well, deadly precise, fluid and homogeneous in each element, each element in turn, corresponded in absolute unison with everyone else. The camera went on their way, as hot katana in butter. 20 meters before the finish...camera JAM again...
I was crushed ... after 10 min. get back smiling to the camera, told a brief anecdote from which all rolling laughter, grab the steadicam and....
8th takes!!! I shared with you

Hallo again!

I forgot to mention that I published the video without sound with reason. Sound picture and especially music, act more strongly on the subconscious versus visual practices. I chose three separated, otherwise indivisible arts, to analyze each separately before they gather in cocktail; :)

Very nice. Thanks for the explanation. It answers what I found to be unusual framing choices in a couple of instances. Very solid work. I enjoyed watching it even without sound.

The only clinkers that I saw were at 3:28 and 3:33, and both were so minor that if I hadn't been watching to see technique I wouldn't have noticed.  I would call this a TEXTBOOK example of how to work.
