...when I saw Greg Bubb's gigantor cart with the drawers, I had to have drawers too!

Hey Ron, how do you have the other drawers organized... nice that the arm fits in the bottom drawer.

Robert

The two top drawers have sections and foam cut-outs to accommodate different stuff like a pana clip on mb/filters, tools, accessories, arm posts. The skinny drawer is made for the old-school pro batts and 3 preston batts. The arm, as you've seen, fits nicely in the remaining drawer (and/or pelican).

I've been trying to slim down the past year and have a new cart and work out of modular 51 bags (damn nice bags but sucky customer service and delivery time). My new cart, born out of a limited space necessity, is a yeager jr with a custom smaller top shelf and docking stand built in. I miss my old cart but i need transpo to pick it up as it weights as much as Rob's smart car.

Here's a Cart being made in Australia by www.Rastorder.com.au, Rob Stalder is a working Sound Recordist who has been making his carts for Soundo's now for some time. His G2 cart for Steadicam's is pretty cool design, built to protect the sled. I have attached a photo of an operator here with his sled fixed to the cart. As you can see there's plenty of room to store your peli or storm cases, attach your rig which lives within the rig for safety on set for that person who isn't watching where there going. Also has a safe glovebox, slide draws deep enough for prestons, arms or whatever you would like shelve. Anyway just another thought on the great cart debate.
