rich, thx.

did you sned them your arm as well so they could make the mold or were they local to you? further, wht type of business is this place? .

Marc,

They are local to me in Burbank, so I brought them the arm and they traced it .

Innerspace Cases is a Case maker....Y'know ATA style hard cases etc.....custom foam cutouts/trays...Just saw a batch of Storm cases they did for PRO's rental rig/ Preston they were beautiful. Oh, they have a website just Google them. Although this isn't anything I think any case maker couldn't do.

Hasta,

Glad this thread is back to business...

Sorry it took so long to Reply, Alex. I missed meeting you in Vegas. The girlfriend and I slipped downstairs at the Wine Celler to grab an over-priced glass first and then the whole party was gone before we could say hi... Oh well. Next year.

Northwestern Textiles is the company for the awesome bags of all sizes. Talk to Collin.

Anywho, hope that is of some use. Like I said, their stuff is awesome and very affordable.

Jeff I'm in the same boat. Need a new case but custom seems to be the only option. Although this looks interesting:

Let me know what you end up using.

I bought the SKB trap case (less than $150 delivered from eBay). It's very large compared to the custom anvil cases. Too large, I think. It does have wheels though. Never used it. For sale, by the way, if you're in Southern California.

Now, I'm trying this "air case":

It only weighs 15 pounds. It is 64.5 inches H+W+D (4.5 inches over some of the commercial airline restrictions).

It has a thin plastic shell with thick foam rubber. Nice protection for around town. I haven't decided whether or not to fly with the sled in it. Maybe one of our New York friends can run down to B&H for a second opinion.

Regarding the "air case"...... I have been to B&H several times in search of cases, and I have to tell you that I would never fly with that particular case. It just isn't strudy enough for me to feel comfortable putting my sled in, and trusting to the baggage guys. I have an Encore wood and fiberglass case, much like the Anvil, and I still feel a little uneasy saying goodbye to the rig at the airport. The "air case" is far more flexible and lightweight than the Anvil style, so I wouldn't suggest the purchase.
