Premium Members Tom Wilkinson Posted December 8, 2015 Premium Members Report Share Posted December 8, 2015 Hi there. I've Recently been shooting a lot on ATV's and rickshaws and also vest mounted in high winds. What are people's views on the omega stabilisation system?? I'm planning to demo one soon but just wanted to get a heads up on a few things: Build quality? Simplicity to rig? Ability to go high and low mode without any adjustments to the rig????? Can it take a 65mm Alexa with a heavy lens???? Thanks. Tom
Premium Members Thomas English Posted December 8, 2015 Premium Members Report Share Posted December 8, 2015 The new Omega's are very simple to rig. So long as the camera is negatively balanced in the rings it is always bottom heavy in high or low mode.
