A focus pulling system for the stead operator to handle by himself

Has anyone used this system for focus pulling while flying a stead ?

If not, could someone suggest a reliable focus pulling system that could be used by the operator himself when using manual focus lenses ?

 

(I know :) it's not the ideal situation, it's usually best to have a focus puller).

Even with the Bartech analog, I would prefer to use the G-zoom rather than the one mad by Bartech. Much more ergonomic.

By the way I just saw a similar steadicam gimbal adaptable fingerweel controller on redrock's site too. (Not sure if it's as reliable as the ones you suggested.)

The red rock is exclusively for their focus system. TheG-zoom is compatible with the analog Bartech and any eng style lens that have servos (Fujinon etc...) it also does focus, zoom and push to talk.

I see, so ideally in my case for controlling the focus myself (I don't own a wireless follow focus system at all - renting so far)

Digital has the benefit of being auto calibrating, but they are more expensive. Analog can be used with a G-zoom to pull your own focus for live setups.

Just to be clear the digital bartech cannot be used to control your own focus. Only the analogue one has the control port where the g-zoom or bartech thumbwheel connect. I have an analogue for sale in the marketplace. Make me an offer if your interested.
