Premium Members James Freeman Posted November 10, 2016 Premium Members Report Share Posted November 10, 2016 The shape cage doesn't have 1/4 20 on the direct horizontal middle. It has plenty mounting holes on the tops and bottoms of each side piece. I was trying to find a way to tap a couple mounting points myself because I'd like to have the monitor spin on its axis. But with the access holes already made into the cage, there is very little space to modify. What you gave done with yours looks great. Premium Members David Tenniswood Posted December 6, 2016 Premium Members Report Share Posted December 6, 2016 I liked this solution because it gave me 1/4 20's on the side of the monitor. So I could use the u bracket. Josh what brand/model cage is that for the Shogun, I'm trying to do the exact same thing? Also if you know, what the total width of the cage? Trying to see if I can fit it inside a transvideo bracket... Thanks

Premium Members Joshua Gitersonke Posted December 15, 2016 Premium Members Report Share Posted December 15, 2016 The Yolk is from action products. I don't know if they would still have any available. It has been really good though. I've gone through a few different monitors and all I did was exchange the carbon rod out for a longer or shorter rod to adjust the size. The cage is from smallrig and it's adjustable. It also came with some wooden handles I took off. As well as a battery plate. It's a pretty great solution.
